Join us for our 10th Annual Celebración del Día de Muertos hosted by Hughes Family Tribute Center.
Experience an authentic celebration of Day of the Dead with mariachi music, Mayan dance performances, local artists,
folklorico dancers, face painting, children's games, and more.
The Celebración del Día de Muertos will be held on selected dates starting on
Saturday, October 19, 2024
and ending on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Celebración del Día de Muertos started in 2014 with a crowd of less than 100 people. With each year, Celebración del Día de Muertos has grown, adding new and interesting things for families and community members to enjoy!
Celebración del Día de Muertos is an authentic celebration of the Day of the Dead. Some of the highlights of our event includes live mariachi music, local artists, games for children, Mayan dancers, and performances by singer, Carolina Imperial!
This year we are excited to announce that we have several site-specific works and exhibits that will be on display! Come and enjoy The Banquet by by Art Garcia in collaboration with Christa Diepenbrock and Heather Simpson, along with several art exhibitions by local artists. Each piece of art and exhibit celebrates culture
as well as life and death.
